Toukon Shop Antonio Inoki Super Star Figure Collection 23 review

As the posts keep coming, blog #67 takes a look at another highlight from

Toukon Shop's Super Star Figure line. Next up: the Toukon Shop Antonio
Inoki figure (NWF Belt ver.).

Released in 1999 as "Super Star Figure Collection 23", this figure
would be Toukon Shop's third Antonio Inoki action figure.

                         


The Antonio figure comes sculpted in a grapple stance and is
based on Antonio's mid 1970's to early 1980's look.


                      

Inoki's trunks are a light brown with black wrestling boots.

As an added bonus, this figure would also mark the first time a
belt was included with an Antonio Inoki figure from the Super
Star line.

                     

The included belt is the NWF Heavyweight Championship which
Inoki was best known for holding due to his high-profile defenses
throughout the 1970's up until 1981 (when the belt was deactivated
by Inoki).

The belt itself depicts an illustration of an Eagle, the Globe, a Star
and the text "WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT WRESTLING CHAMP
-ION" among a collection of white jewels.


                   

The NWF Heavyweight Championship was also held by other
legends such as Abdullah The Butcher, Stan Hansen, Tiger
Jeet Singh, Ernie Ladd and (after being re-commissioned in
2003) Yoshihiro Takayama and a young Shinsuke Nakamura!
