Mogura House Jun Akiyama GHC Heavyweight Championship & thumb across throat variant figure review

Stepping back into the BMD archive once again, our next figure
coverage takes a look at two additional figure variants of Jun "Blue
Thunder" Akiyama.

For blog #105, we'll be looking at Mogura House's Jun Akiyama
"fighting pose" (with GHC Heavyweight Championship) and thumb
across throat figure variants.

                              


This early 2000's single-packed Mogura House figure features Jun
Akiyama with the Pro-Wrestling NOAH GHC Heavyweight
Championship belt.

Jun Akiyama is also sculpted with the standard "fighting pose" used
for the majority of Mogura House's figures.

It's worth noting that the belts packaged with the Akiyama figure tend
to feature a near-silver appearance in comparison to the standard gold
-coloured GHC Belts packaged with other Pro-Wrestling NOAH figures
made by Mogura House.

Akiyama's trunks contain a silver triangle decal on the front and back.

No other single-packed Akiyama figure (except for the special "bronze
type" repaint) would come packaged with the GHC Heavyweight belt.

Mogura House created a similar variant of their Jun Akiyama figure;
this version however, features Akiyama sculpted in his signature
Thumb Across Throat taunt.

Unlike the "fighting pose" variant, the thumb across throat figure
variant did not come packaged with the GHC Heavyweight
Championship.
