Mogura House Kenta Kobashi GHC Championship Belt (Chop Ver.) figure review

"The Maximum Innovator" returns for blog #94: the Kenta Kobashi GHC
Heavyweight Championship figure by Mogura House.

Continuing Mogura House's early trend of generic, tour-related packaging,
the text on the Kenta Kobashi figure's cardboard backing reads "GHC
GLOBAL HONORED CROWN"
and (in red text behind the Kobashi
figure) "Navigation For The Victory" in red coloring.

The writing on the back of the packaging mentions the origins of the
Global Honored Crown and associated tours at the time.

In this figure's case, the text is a reference to Pro-Wrestling NOAH's
Navigation For The Victory tour which ran from March 18th to April
15th, 2001.

Now, for an opened example:

For the first time ever, the Mogura House Kenta Kobashi figure comes
with Pro-Wrestling NOAH's GHC Heavyweight Championship belt.

This particular variant features Kobashi with a clean-shaven face sculpt.

Another unique feature to this variant is Kobashi's right hand which is
sculpted in a chop pose.

Collectors will also want to look for the bearded and "fighting pose"
(with closed fists) variant of this figure.

The Mogura House Kenta Kobashi figure comes decked out in his
Pro-Wrestling NOAH era blue and white flame ring trunks.

Mogura House also released the exact same figure in a non-tour related
packaging.

The packaging for the non-tour variant looks closer to the packaging art
designed by fellow Japanese toy maker Character Product (Charapro).

Like Character Product's Rickson Gracie figure variants, the non-tour
version of the Kenta Kobashi figure is generally considered to be the
more common of the two.
