Mogura House KENTA figure review

Welcome back to the largest source of information for Japanese Pro
-Wrestling collectibles on the web.

For blog #110 we'll be looking at two figure variants released by Mogura
House in the mid 2000': the Mogura House KENTA silver tights and
KENTA brown/yellow shorts figures.

The first KENTA (better known as Hideo Itami to the WWE Universe)
figure variant was released by Mogura House in 2005.

The single-packed variant features KENTA in a "fighting pose" with the
Pro-Wrestling NOAH GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship belt which
KENTA first won on July 18th, 2005 at NOAH's "DESTINY" event in
Tokyo, Japan.

This figure variant of KENTA comes dresed in silver tights with black shoot
-style footwear.

The Global Honored Crown Junior Heavyweight Championship belt contains
a blue strap.

With Championship removed, Mogura House's KENTA figure is the smallest
of the series scale-wise.

The sides of KENTA's pants contain an electric shock decal with yellow,
black and purple colouring. The overall coolness factor of these decals
definitely gave Character Product and Toukan Shop a run for their money
when it came to recreating each Wrestler's ring attire.

The second figure variant we'll be looking at features KENTA in his more
modern brown and yellow ring attire.

Again, this single-packed alternate colour variant of KENTA is sculpted
in a fighting pose.

As a single-pack figure, KENTA comes with the GHC Jr. Heavyweight
Championship.

The included GHC Jr. Heavyweight contains a striking, blue strap.

With Championship belt removed.

The brown and yellow KENTA variant would be the last action
figure of KENTA released by Mogura House.

(Pictured on the far right) KENTA would also be added to peer-toy company
Character Product's third volume ("Vol. 3 - NOAH Fighters") of Mini Big
Heads.

(Pictured bottom row - far right) KENTA's alternate colour brown and yellow
figure variant was released exclusively as part of Mogura House's Pro-Wrestling
NOAH STRAP set with an accompanying figure scale GHC Jr. Heavyweight
Championship belt strap.

While the packaging contains the Mogura House logo, the Mini Big Heads
themselves were made by Character Product (it really makes you wonder
if both Charapro and Mogura were really the same company all along).
