Character Product Ultimo Dragon (orange ver.) DX figure review

Ultimo madness continues with another colour variant from our friends at Character
Product. This time, a very special version that is considered one of the harder Ultimo
figures to track down.

Blog #178 flips over Character Product's Depomart exclusive Ultimo Dragon (Orange
ver.) DX figure.

Released in 2004 as part of the Ultimo Dragon DX figures, the fourth figure variant
features Ultimo with orange paint and silver highlights.

I feel Ultimo's orange ring attire best compliments the silver glitter finish that adorns both
sides of this figure.

The included belt is the UWA World Welterweight Championship belt. Not the WWF
Light Heavyweight belt like some sites have noted in the past.

The sticker on the bottom right of the packaging signifies that this variant is a Depomart
store exclusive. Depomart is a Pro-Wrestling store in Japan that specializes in Lucha Libre
merchandise.

As a deluxe figure, Ultimo Dragon comes packaged with an acrylic display base,
attachable acrylic nameplate and two acrylic figure holders.

The same orange design is also available as a Mini Big Head figure in the 6th volume
of Character Product's Pro-Kaku Heroes line.

Closing thoughts:

Out of all of the Ultimo Dragon deluxe figure variants, the Orange and Silver Ultimo
is one of the rarest. With only 500 pieces made, this Depomart exclusive variant may
be one of the hardest Ultimo Dragon figures to locate today.

Overall, a splendid figure with an attractive belt. Best of luck finding one!
