Super Star Figure Collection Hiro Saito figure review

In the late 1990's, the epic scale of the NWO's influence within the WCW had become
a worldwide phenomenon. A faction that crossed cultures, countries and even language
barriers during the Monday Night Wars.

Case and point: NWO Japan.

Never before had a faction existed in both an American and Japanese Wrestling
promotion simultaneously. So much so that it didn't take long for Japanese toy
maker Toukon Shop to start producing figures based on members from the
popular stable.

Blog #156 takes a look at a member of the NWO Japan faction. Toukon Shop's
Super Star Figure Collection Hiro Saitoh.

Released in 1999, Masa Saitoh's first and only action figure was the 22nd figure
produced in Toukon Shop's Super Star Figure Collection line.

Despite his similar looking appearance and name, Hiro Saitoh is not related to
Masa Saitoh.

Saitoh comes dressed in black tights, studded belt and boots. Saitoh's left fist is also
taped.

What Saitoh lacks in stature, Saitoh more than makes up in bulk.

The sides of Saitoh's tights contain a lightning bolt design.

Even as a member of the NWO Japan and Team2000 stables, this would be
Masa Saitoh's only action figure.
