Character Product Satoshi Kojima DX figure review

Digging through the old photo archive once again, here's another piece that is bound to
make some of you shout out "Icchauzo bakayaro!!"

Without further adieu, Blog #180 sits down for lunch with the head of the buffet club.
The Character Product Satoshi Kojima DX figure.

Released in 2004 as part of Character Product's deluxe (DX) figure line. Kojima
is sculpted performing his signature Lariat attack.

The included mask is part of Kojima's"The Great Cosuke" attire. A gimmick Kojima
adopted for certain early 2000's matches when paying tribute to The Great Sasuke.

Kojima's chin strap and signature nose bandage are also present

As a deluxe figure, Kojima comes with an acrylic display base, Wrestler name plate
(which reads Kojima's name in Japanese Kanji) and acrylic figure holders that attach
to the base.

Kojima's attire even parodies the Spanish language and makes mention of Kojima's
Cosuke gimmick.

Closing thoughts:

There are two deluxe Satoshi figures to collect. Both with different poses, removable
masks and attires.

As one of All Japan Pro-Wrestling's top stars from the era, Character Product put a lot
of effort into making the DX Kojima figures collector's pieces; showcasing two of
Kojima's personas with their own distinct differences.

Personally, I would have also enjoyed a Great Koji figure to compliment and offset the
glut of Great Muta figures that dominated Character Product's deluxe figure line during
the era. Charapro were more than capable of capturing the bizarre alter-ego of Kojima
if given the chance.
