2005 LEG LOCK Merchandise Ad

Over the years, I've tried to fill this blog with as much information on Japanese Pro-Wrestling
collectibles as possible. Translations, information on various figure lines, historical significance
behind the items and even scans of the collectibles themselves.

While reading through a Japanese Pro-Wrestling magazines from 2005, I stumbled across this
ad promoting Keiji Mutoh's LEG LOCK merchandise. For Blog #194, let's take a look at some
of the official LEG LOCK items that were available at the time.

The items are:

LEGLOCK エナメルバッグ   - Enamel Bag at 6,300円 ($56 USD)

LEGLOCKビス止めネックレス 6.10記念モデル
  - Screw Necklace Commemorative
6.10 model at 12,600円 ($113 USD)

Note: "610" in a Japanese number system spells out "MUTOH". Keiji Mutoh has used
610 since the beginning of his career as a Wrestler and is also the name of Mutoh's
restaurant "Dining 610".

武藤ファイティングセット2005(タイツ&ニーパット) - Mutoh Fighting Set 2005
(Tights & Kneepads) at 14,700円 ($132 USD)

HAOソフビーグレートムタ〈赤/黒〉- HAO Soft Vinyl Great Muta (Red/Black)
at 3,780円 each ($34 USD each).

Note: these HAO figures are also known as the "Spider" Great Muta figures.

高級布扇子(武藤敬司) - High Grade Cloth Fan (Keiji Mutoh) Regular at 3,150円

三沢・武藤タッグフィギュア - Misawa. Mutoh Tag Figure at 4,200円 (37.99 USD)

Note: This is the deluxe Keiji Mutoh and Mitsuharu Misawa figure two-pack released by
Mogura House and Character Product.

フィギュアDコレ武藤/小島/川田/カズ - Figure Decor Mutoh/Kojima/Kawada/Kaz
at 1,575円  ($14 USD each).

Note: This is the Decor set released by INSPIRE. The figures are Keiji Mutoh, Satoshi
Kojima, Toshiaki Kawada and Kaz Hayashi.

COZY LIFE DVD - at 5,250円 ($47 USD)

The bottom right corner mentions various ticket prices for the WRESTLE-1 GP 2005
with the most expensive seat selling for 20,000 円 ($180 USD).

All of these items were sold via Keiji Mutoh's official LEG LOCK online shop back in
2005. Unfortunately, the webshop was long taken down (yet pieces of the store can still
be accessed via wayback machine).

Maybe I'll get around to reviewing the LEG LOCK shop and it's merchandise in a future
blog. Only time will tell...
